The Web Design Process
1. Planning
Our first step is to gain a full understanding of the purpose of the new site and what it needs to achieve in order for you to reach your goal as well as competitor research.
4. Testing
Following development, we then move into the testing phase, making sure that everything works as it should, including all links, forms as well as confirming that it functions well across different types of devices such as mobile phones and iPads.
2. Site Design
Once we know what the site needs to achieve we can then start to scope out the project. i.e., the types and number of web pages including the various features it will require which allows us to start building a site map giving us a first glimpse of how the new site will look.
5. Deployment
Once we’re happy that everything works we can then plan a time for the sites launch, including strategy on when and how best to communicate it.
3. Development
With an understanding of the site’s structure, we can then start to create the sites content including its visual elements, which in some cases is already determined if there is an established brand. It’s important that the sites content is real and meaningful for a site visitor.
6. Maintenance
Following deployment of the site, it will need to be maintained making sure that it continues to function properly.

How long does it take to build a Website?While the size and complexity of the project often determines the length of time needed to deliver a site, on average it’s around 6 weeks providing we have everything we need from the client which includes timely feedback when we reach several key milestones throughout development.

Among other things, It involves the use of “key words” on a page that a person might also use when searching for a product or service being promoted on the site that they need. What do you need from me?To understand your requirements, you need to participate in an online, telephone or face to face meet, during which we’ll also explain how the process works. To move forward we’ll need you to commit and supply some specifics relating to the business all of which are detailed on our Project Checklist. Once development commences you’ll be required to provide feedback as we reach several key milestones.

Who will host my site once completed?Once completed we can sign the site across to you or we can continue to host it on your behalf, which is what happens in most cases. By hosting the site we can monitor it's performance, provide you with regular reporting as well as implementing any adjustments or changes you might want, or we suggest. All options are explained during the first consultation.
